Carruanthus ringens, also known as Carruanthus caninus, is a flowering plant from the ice plant family Aizoaceae. It is a species native to South Africa and has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. This succulent can grow up to 20 cm tall and is drought tolerant, thriving in soil with a pH between 6 and 8. It can also withstand mild frost if kept completely dry. The plant produces dandelion-like flowers with fewer petals.
