Reseda alba, also known as white mignonette or white upright mignonette, is a flowering plant found in Europe, Asia, and North Africa, as well as parts of the Americas and Australia. It is often grown as an ornamental plant for its fragrant white flowers. This herb can grow up to a meter tall and has deeply divided leaves. Its inflorescence is densely packed with white flowers, each with five or six petals that are divided into three lobes, giving the appearance of a frilly raceme. The plant produces a rectangular four-angled capsule as its fruit, reaching up to 1.4 centimeters in length.
