Diplotaxis erucoides, also known as the white rocket or white wallrocket, is a type of annual herb that belongs to the Brassicaceae family. It is native to the West Mediterranean region and can grow up to 20-60 cm tall. The plant has a green, upright stem and its leaves are pinnatisect, meaning they are divided into lobes. Its flowers are white and arranged in racemes, with four petals, four sepals, six stamens, and a green stigma. The fruit of Diplotaxis erucoides is a siliqua, which is a type of pod, that can grow up to 25-33 mm and contains 40-80 seeds. This plant is commonly found in the wild and is known for its attractive white flowers.
