Holbøll's rockcress, also known as Boechera holboellii, is a plant species in the Brassicaceae family that has been extensively studied by Danish botanist Tyge W. Böcher. Its classification has varied over time, with some considering it a widespread species with multiple varieties, while others have defined it more narrowly as a species found only in Greenland. This plant is susceptible to infection by the rust fungus Puccinia monoica, which causes it to produce pseudoflowers that resemble those of yellow wildflowers. The species is named after Danish explorer Carl Peter Holbøll, and its type is diploid and found in Greenland, with some evidence of its presence in eastern Canada. Other closely related diploid species include B. pendulocarpa, B. collinsii, B. polyantha, and B. retrofracta.
