Varronia rupicola, also known as the Puerto Rico manjack, is a critically endangered flowering shrub in the borage family. It is native to the islands of Puerto Rico and Anegada. The species was discovered in 1886 and is characterized by its small woody shrub form, oval-elliptical leaves, and small white flowers that produce red fruit. It was previously believed to be endemic to Puerto Rico, but was later discovered on the island of Anegada. The species is now considered extirpated in Puerto Rico, with only a few dozen individuals remaining in Anegada. It is found in subtropical dry forests and shows a slight preference for limestone.
