Plagiobothrys leptocladus, also known as finebranched popcornflower and alkali plagiobothrys, is a flowering plant in the borage family. It is found in western North America, from Alaska to northern Mexico, and can thrive in various wet habitats, including alkali flats and vernal pools. This annual herb has hairless to rough hairy stems and leaves that can reach up to 10 centimeters in length. Its inflorescence consists of small white flowers surrounded by bent, ribbed sepals, and its fruit is a lance-shaped nutlet.
