Plagiobothrys bracteatus, also known as bracted popcornflower, is a flowering plant in the borage family. It is native to the western United States, from Oregon to Baja California in Mexico. This annual herb can be found in wet habitats such as vernal pools, chaparral, forests, and woodlands. It has an upright stem and leaves that are covered in sparse rough hairs. The flowers are small and white with five lobes, and are accompanied by leaflike bracts. The fruit is a small, cross-ribbed nutlet.
