Plagiobothrys arizonicus, also known as Arizona popcornflower, is a flowering plant in the borage family. It is native to the southwestern United States, California, and Sonora, Mexico, and can be found in various habitats such as mountains, deserts, and woodlands. This annual herb has a stem that can grow up to 40 centimeters and is covered in rough hairs. Its leaves are arranged in a basal rosette and along the stem, and when crushed, the plant releases a purple juice. The flowers are small and white with five lobes, and the paired nutlets are not prickly.
