Omphalodes cappadocica, also known as the Cappadocian navelwort, is a flowering plant native to Turkey. It is a perennial plant that grows up to 25 cm tall and 40 cm wide, with oval pointed leaves and bright blue flowers with white eyes. This plant is commonly used as groundcover in moist, shady areas such as woodlands. It has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. The name Omphalodes comes from the Greek word for 'navel-like', referring to the shape of its fruit. Cappadocica refers to its origin in Cappadocia, Asia Minor (Turkey).
