Nemophila spatulata, also known as Sierra baby blue-eyes or Sierra nemophila, is a dicot plant in the Boraginaceae family. It is an annual herb that is commonly found in California, Nevada, and Oregon, growing on slopes at elevations of 1,100-3,000 meters. This plant can be found in meadows, road banks, and woodlands, and is typically found in yellow pine, red fir, and lodgepole forests. It is also distributed in various regions, including the Southern High Cascade Range, High Sierra Nevada and Southern Sierra Nevada Foothills, Tehachapi Mountains, and Transverse and Peninsular Ranges. The flowers of Nemophila spatulata are bowl-shaped and come in white or blue with purple spots. The leaves are opposite, with winged petioles and 3-5 lobes. The seeds are brown and smooth, with the fruit producing 5-7 seeds.
