Scaevola repens is a low-growing shrub that belongs to the Goodeniaceae family and is native to the southwestern region of Western Australia. Its branches can reach up to 50 cm in length and its leaves are stalkless with smooth edges. The plant produces small flowers in axillary spikes, with yellow or golden hairs on the outside and a white to cream color on the inside. Its fruit is ovoid and warty. This species is unique from other Scaevola plants due to its hairy corolla. It was first described and named by Dutch botanist Willem Hendrik de Vriese in 1845. Its name, repens, comes from the Latin word meaning "creeping" or "having creeping stems." Scaevola repens is found in various regions of Western Australia, including the Avon Wheatbelt, Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest, and Swan Coastal Plain.
