Goodenia viscida, also known as viscid goodenia, is a perennial herb or shrub found in the south-west region of Western Australia. It has narrow leaves with toothed edges and produces spikes of yellow flowers. The plant is typically 40cm tall and has sticky foliage. It blooms from October to January and its fruit is a small spherical capsule. The species was first described in 1810 and its name, viscida, refers to its sticky foliage. Viscid goodenia can be found in moist areas near lakes and depressions in various biogeographic regions of Western Australia.
