Goodenia turleyae is a unique species of flowering plant that is part of the Goodeniaceae family and can only be found in a small area in the south-west of Western Australia. It is an annual herb with distinct spatula-shaped leaves at the base of the plant and produces bright yellow flowers. This plant is typically small, growing to a height of 3-4 cm. It was first described in 2007 and is named after the collector of the type specimens, Carol Turley. Goodenia turleyae is only found in three populations near salt lakes in the Mallee biogeographic region and is classified as "Priority One" by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife, indicating its vulnerability due to its limited distribution.
