Goodenia sepalosa is a unique species of flowering plant found only in northern Australia. It is a low-growing herb with narrow leaves and yellow flowers arranged in racemes. The plant was first described in 1868 and has since been classified into two varieties. It mainly blooms from April to July and is found in sandy soil in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and the northern part of the Northern Territory. It is not considered a threatened species and is classified as "least concern" under the Northern Territory Government's conservation act.
