Goodenia lancifolia, also known as scruffy goodenia, is a perennial herb found in the far south-west corner of Western Australia. It has linear to narrow egg-shaped leaves at the base and lance-shaped to egg-shaped stem-leaves. The flowers are blue with a white centre and are arranged in a raceme on a hairy pedicel. This plant mainly blooms in January and produces an elliptic to oval capsule as its fruit. It was first described in 2000 and its name, lancifolia, refers to its lance-shaped leaves. Goodenia lancifolia can be found in winter-wet swamps and on the edge of lakes in the south-western region of Western Australia. It is not considered a threatened species by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife.
