Goodenia gloeophylla is a flowering plant that is native to northern Australia and belongs to the family Goodeniaceae. It is an erect, slightly woody under-shrub with linear to narrow elliptic leaves that are toothed or narrowly lobed. The flowers are arranged in racemes and can range from pale to deep purple in color. This plant typically blooms from April to May and produces cylindrical capsules as fruit. It was first described in 1990 and is found in sandy soil in heath and scrub in the northern Kimberley region of Western Australia and the northern part of the Northern Territory. It is considered a "Priority Two" species, meaning it is poorly known and found in only a few locations.
