Goodenia brunnea is a flowering plant that belongs to the Goodeniaceae family and is found only in Central Australia. It is a shrub with sticky leaves that are either lance-shaped or lyre-shaped with toothed edges. The flowers are yellow and arranged in racemes or thyrses, and the plant typically grows up to 0.8m in height. It mainly blooms from June to November and produces oval capsules as fruit. This species was first described in 1992 and is found in rocky areas and near watercourses in the far north-west of South Australia and the far south-west of the Northern Territory.
