Campanula cervicaria, also known as the bristly bellflower, is a flowering plant in the bellflower family. It is a biennial or short-lived perennial herbaceous plant that can grow up to 30-100 centimetres in height. In its first year, it produces a rosette of lanceolate leaves, and in the second year, it sends up erect flowering stems with roughly hairy leaves. The flowers are light blue and about 1-2 centimetres long, grouped together in dense clusters. This plant is native to Scandinavia and Central Europe, but has also become naturalized in parts of North America. It thrives in woodland edges, meadows, and disturbed areas such as cleared forests or coppiced areas. Its flowering period is from June to September.
