Tanacetum microphyllum is a flowering plant that belongs to the aster family and is found exclusively in the Iberian Peninsula. It has a long history of use in Spanish traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic properties. Researchers have identified several compounds, such as santin, ermanin, centaureidin, and hydroxyachillin, in extracts of the plant that contribute to its medicinal benefits.
