Symphyotrichum subspicatum, also known as Douglas's aster, is a perennial flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to western North America and can reach heights of 40 to 120 centimeters. Its flowers have violet ray florets and yellow then reddish disk florets. This plant was formerly known as Aster subspicatus and has been cited in various sources such as NatureServe and POWO.
