Symphyotrichum lucayanum, also known as pineland aster, is a perennial flowering plant in the aster family that is native to the island of Grand Bahama in North America. It can reach up to 50 centimeters in height and has purple ray florets. The holotype for its original name, Aster lucayanus, was collected in 1905 and is stored in the New York Botanical Garden Steere Herbarium. It is also available to view online.
