Stephanomeria tenuifolia, also known as narrow-leaved wire-lettuce, is a perennial plant found in the Great Basin region of the western United States. It has a distinct growth pattern with many branches and can reach heights of 1/2 to 2 feet. Its leaves are thin and threadlike, and its inflorescence is a head with five petal-like ray flowers and sepal-like phyllaries. The plant produces seeds with parachute-like pappi. It can be found in various habitats, including sagebrush scrub, juniper woodland, and pine and fir forests.
