Solidago ulmifolia, also known as elmleaf goldenrod, is a perennial herb found in Canada and the eastern and central United States. It can grow up to 120 cm tall and produces small yellow flower heads in late summer and fall. This species is found in a variety of habitats, from thin woodlands to shaded edges of lawns. It is also a host to several insect-induced galls. There are two recognized varieties of Solidago ulmifolia, one with pubescent stems and the other with glabrous stems.
