Solidago simplex, also known as Mt. Albert goldenrod or sticky goldenrod, is a perennial herb found in North America. It has a branching underground caudex and can grow up to 80 cm tall with long, narrow leaves. The plant produces numerous small yellow flower heads, with each stem capable of producing up to 150 flowers. There are at least eight recognized varieties of Solidago simplex, found in different regions of Canada, the United States, and Mexico. These varieties differ in their distribution and habitat, ranging from mountains to lake shores.
