Solidago pulchra, also known as the Carolina goldenrod, is a rare plant species found in North and South Carolina in the southeastern United States. This perennial herb can grow up to 80 cm tall and has a woody rootstock. It produces an elongated array of up to 50 yellow flowers, with 6-14 ray flowers and 12-30 disc flowers per head. The plant thrives in moist, sandy areas within pine woodlands.
