Solidago buckleyi, also known as Buckley's goldenrod, is a rare species of goldenrod found in central North America. It is mainly found in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas and Missouri, as well as near the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers in southern Illinois and western Kentucky. It has also been reported in a few isolated populations in Indiana. This perennial herb can grow up to 120 cm tall and has large woody taproots. Its preferred habitat is open oak woodlands. The plant produces up to 160 flower heads in an elongate paniculate array, with 6-8 ray flowers and 8-14 disc flowers per head. Its basal leaves wilt before flowering, while stem leaves become smaller as they go up the stem.
