Ratibida pinnata, also known as pinnate prairie coneflower, is a flowering plant native to the central and eastern United States and Ontario, Canada. It is a tall perennial herb with rough-haired leaves and yellow flower heads containing up to 15 ray florets and 200 or more disc florets. This plant can be found in prairies, wood margins, and roadsides, and is adaptable to both moist and dry habitats. It is a hardy plant that is often grown as an ornamental in gardens, attracting butterflies and birds. A popular cultivar is 'Sunglow'.
