Pyrrocoma liatriformis, also known as Palouse goldenweed or smallhead goldenweed, is a perennial herb found in the northwestern United States. It is endemic to the Palouse prairie and grows in grasslands dominated by blue bunchgrass. The plant has erect, hairy stems and produces yellow ray and disc florets in its inflorescence. While originally only found in eastern Washington and northern Idaho, a survey in 2011 confirmed its presence in northeastern Oregon. Another similar species, P. scaberula, was also discovered in the same survey. Due to habitat loss and competition from invasive weeds, P. liatriformis is classified as imperiled by NatureServe, but is not listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act.
