Podolepis robusta, also known as alpine podolepis, mountain lettuce, or cattleman's lettuce, is a perennial herb that grows in the Australian Alps. It has a thick stem and can reach up to 60 cm in height, with yellow flowers that bloom in the summer. The leaves are spathulate and clasp the stem, with smaller leaves higher up on the stem. This species was first described in 1898 and was later renamed and elevated to species status in 1954. It is commonly found in alpine grasslands, often near snow gums, and is distributed in the Australian Alps, starting from Mount Gingera in the Australian Capital Territory.
