Pericallis echinata is a flowering plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family and is native to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. It is a perennial plant that can grow up to 30-50 cm in height and has rounded leaves with toothed edges. The flowers are arranged in clusters of 5-15 and are pink in color with 11-14 ray florets. This species is only found in the north-west of Tenerife, particularly in Cistus scrub and on rocky slopes, and is rarely seen in the south of the island.
