Pectis glaucescens, also known as the sanddune cinchweed, is a type of annual plant that blooms in the summer. It belongs to the genus Pectis and is found in Florida, Hispaniola, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. This plant has opposing leaves arranged in narrow rows and contains oil glands on the lower surface. Its yellow flowers have long stalks and produce small-scale fruits.
