Osmitopsis parvifolia is a unique plant species native to the Western Cape region of South Africa. It is a small shrublet that can grow up to 40 cm tall and is characterized by its oval-shaped, toothed leaves. The plant produces yellow flowers with white rays between September and February. It is found in stony sandstone slopes and crevices at altitudes of 420-1,250 m. While the species has no known threats, its small range of only 200 km2 makes it rare and in need of conservation efforts.
