Olearia persoonioides is a species of flowering plant endemic to Tasmania. It is a bushy shrub that typically grows to a height of 1.0–1.5 m and has alternately arranged, oblong or egg-shaped leaves that are 19–38 mm long. The heads or daisy-like "flowers" are white and arranged in leafy panicles. It was first formally described in 1836 by Augustin Pyramus de Candolle and the name was changed to Olearia persoonioides in 1867 by George Bentham. It grows in wet forest in Tasmania and flowers in January.
