Nipponanthemum nipponicum, also known as "Nippon daisy" or "Montauk daisy," is a plant species native to Japan but grown as an ornamental in other regions. It can now be found along seashores in New York and New Jersey. This shrub can reach up to 100 cm in height and has clustered leaves near the top of the stem. Its flower heads are white with yellow, red, or purple disc flowers. It is the only species in the Nipponanthemum genus, previously classified as part of Chrysanthemum.
