Leucanthemum heterophyllum, also known as the white oxeye daisy, is a perennial flowering plant in the aster family. It can grow up to 30-80 centimetres tall and has a robust stem with large basal leaves. The plant produces solitary white flowers with yellow central disk flowers, blooming from June to September. It is native to southern Europe and can be found in grasslands, meadows, and shrubs, particularly on calcareous soils at elevations of 1,000-2,200 metres above sea level.
