Hymenonema laconicum is a species of herbaceous perennial plant in the Asteraceae family. It is found in the central and south-eastern Peloponnesos region of Greece and is characterized by its small to average height, greyish pinnately segmented leaves, and orange or yolk yellow ray-flowers with a purple anther tube. It flowers in May and June and is endemic to the region. The plant has a rosette of leaves and carries one to three flowerheads on its stem. It is closely related to another species, Hymenonema graecum, which has yellow ligulate florets and different characteristics in its cypselas and pappus. Hymenonema laconicum was first described in 1875 and is found in shrubland and meadows at altitudes of 5-1300m.
