Hieracium alpinum, also known as the alpine hawkweed, is a plant species found in Europe and Greenland. It belongs to the tribe Cichorieae in the Asteraceae family. This herb can grow up to 25 cm tall and has lance-shaped leaves up to 8 cm long, mostly arranged in a rosette at the base. Each stalk typically produces only one flower head, but sometimes 2 or 3. The flower heads have 80-120 yellow ray flowers, but no disc flowers.
