Helichrysum mollifolium is a species of plant from South Africa found in the KwaZulu Natal province. It has a terminal flowering stem with long white hairs, reduced leaves at the base, small flowerheads aggregated into a doubly compound inflorescence, and golden brown flower bracts. It can be distinguished from Helichrysum nudifolium and Helichrysum miconiifolium by its soft leaves, five nerved leaves, and blunt bracts. It grows in moist areas in the Drakensberg, near streams and the damp margins of forests, and is considered to be of least concern by the South African National Biodiversity Institute.
