Helianthus angustifolius, commonly known as narrowleaf sunflower or swamp sunflower, is a species of sunflower native to the south-central and eastern United States. It is a perennial herb that can grow up to 5 feet tall and has long, narrow leaves up to 6 inches long. The bright yellow flowers have 10-20 ray florets surrounding at least 75 disc florets. It is often cultivated for its showy flowers and is found in wet areas of the coastal plain habitat.
