Helianthella uniflora, also known as the oneflower helianthella, is a plant species native to North America. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and is commonly found in the western United States and western Canada. This herbaceous plant can grow up to 120 cm tall and has leaves that can reach up to 25 cm in length, with 3 prominent veins. It typically produces only one yellow flower head per stem, although sometimes 2 or 3 can be found. The flower heads are not hanging and contain 11-21 bright yellow ray flowers surrounding numerous yellow disc flowers. This plant has been observed in various locations, from British Columbia to northern Arizona and northern New Mexico.
