Helenium pinnatifidum, also known as southeastern sneezeweed, is a perennial plant found in the southeastern United States. It grows up to 80 cm tall and has pinnatifid leaves, meaning they are deeply divided into small parts. The plant produces 1-3 hemispherical flower heads, each about 2 cm in diameter. These heads contain over 800 tiny disc flowers that are yellow at the bottom and yellow-brown at the tip. Additionally, there are 13-34 yellow ray flowers with three lobes at the tip.
