Flaveria bidentis, also known as coastal plain yellowtops, is a plant species found in South America and naturalized in many other regions including Mexico, Central America, the West Indies, and parts of Europe, Africa, and Asia. It was introduced to the states of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida in the United States. This annual herb can grow up to 100 cm tall and produces numerous flower heads, each containing 3-8 yellow disc flowers. Some flower heads may also have a single yellow ray flower.
