Erigeron vetensis, also known as early blue-top fleabane, is a flowering plant native to the western United States. It primarily grows in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico, but can also be found in Nebraska. This perennial herb can reach heights of up to 50 centimeters and typically produces only one flower head per stem. The flower head contains blue, purple, or white ray florets surrounding numerous yellow disc florets. Erigeron vetensis thrives in dry, open areas within conifer forests.
