Ericameria compacta, also known as the Charleston Mountain goldenbush, is a rare flowering plant found in North America. It is part of the Asteraceae family and has only been discovered in pine forests in the Spring and Sheep Mountains of Clark County, Nevada. This species is quite uncommon, with less than 12 populations recorded. It is a shrub that can grow up to 50 cm tall and has long, narrow leaves. The plant produces multiple small, yellow flower heads, each containing up to 16 disc florets but no ray florets.
