Chrysopsis subulata, also known as the scrubland goldenaster, is a biennial herb found only in Florida. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and can grow up to 70 cm tall with 1-5 branching stems. The leaves and stem are typically hairless or have scattered hairs. This plant produces numerous yellow flower heads on each stalk and is commonly found in sandy and grassy areas.
