Centaurea triumfettii, also known as the squarrose knapweed, is a perennial plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. It grows to a height of 30-60 centimetres and blooms from May to August with bright purple inner flowers and azure blue or deep mauve outer flowers. This species is found in various countries including Afghanistan, Canada, and Turkey, and prefers dry and sunny habitats with chalky soil. It is commonly found in the mountains of southern and central Europe and is sometimes grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks.
