Cassinia wilsoniae is a unique species of flowering plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is found in a small area near the border of South Australia and Victoria. This plant is an erect shrub with hairy branchlets, needle-shaped leaves, and ochre-colored flower heads that grow in clusters of twenty to fifty. It typically reaches a height of 0.75-1.8 meters and blooms from February to April. The plant was first described in 2009 by Anthony Edward Orchard and is only found in Wyperfeld National Park, Lake Albacutya, and one location in South Australia.
