Brickellia brachyphylla, also known as the plumed brickellbush or Hinckley's brickellbush, is a flowering plant found in the southwestern United States. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and is native to states such as Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, western Texas, and the Oklahoma Panhandle. While there have been reports of its presence in southwestern Kansas, these populations are now believed to be extinct. This shrub can grow up to 100 cm tall and has a woody caudex. It produces small flower heads with pale green disc florets, but no ray florets.
