Asteridea nivea is a perennial herb that belongs to the Asteraceae family and is found only in Western Australia. It was first described in 1845 and later assigned to the genus Asteridea in 1980. This herb can grow up to 60 cm tall and is commonly found on sandy soils in various regions of Western Australia. Its white to white-pink flowers can be seen during the months of April to May or August to September. It is mainly found in the IBRA regions of Avon Wheatbelt, Esperance Plains, Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest, Mallee, and Warren.
