Artemisia porteri, also known as Porter's sagebrush, is a flowering plant found only in Wyoming, USA. It is a small herb or subshrub that grows in clumps or mats and can reach up to 14 centimeters in height. Its stems are covered in woolly hairs and its leaves are silvery and lobed. The plant produces bell-shaped flower heads with small yellowish disc florets. It is typically found in the badlands of central Wyoming, where it thrives on barren substrates such as mudstone and eroding clay. This unique plant is endemic to Wyoming and can be found in Fremont, Johnson, and Natrona Counties.
